I don't think that will happen here on this forum

I agree a very good group of helpful people here.

Someone on SVRider recently asked me what original components were on my SV after over 200,000 miles of travel.
It was then I realized the true depth of my farkling/changing/improving disease. The main chassis The handlebar controls The wiring harness (mostly) Throttle bodies and airbox And that's pretty much it. Everything else is changed. And I'm not done. Plans for building spoked wheels are in the works. Not easy because I am running GSXR wheels and suspension. Just am tired of replacing bent up GSXR wheels (light as hell...cannot take a good hit) So farkle on Garth |

For maximum enjoyment, you really do need to accessorize a motorcycle. :) However, it does take time and money to do so. ;) Fortunatley, the Zongshen RX3 is loaded with stock equipment at a very modest price. :) Therefore, I don't need to spend as much time, and money, accessorizing the RX3, and I can spend more time riding the bike, and enjoying it.

You guys are just too much fun. :lmao:

How long did the original engine last before a rebuild? ...or did it last the entire 200,000..... ;) Jb |
Here I go, talking about balls again...
Tiger & Dan: what size mounting ball is the correct one? I've been thinking about upgrading my mirrors at some point as well :) |

The RAM ball is one inch in diameter, as is the ball on the end of the Doubletake mirror. ;) |
I guess the better question would be which thread option did you go with? There is the 'bmw' size and the 'other bikes' size ;)

Worn valve guides had me adding a quart every 1k or so. Motor was still running. This motor is starting to burn a little oil. Worn piston/rings I suspect by symptoms. Still running very strong. She has been highly modified for comfort handling and touring. http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u...pszfpkbbip.jpg |
