Apollo agb 36 air filter screens

The two screens in my air filter box look pretty dirty, can I just use soap and water to clean them or does someone have a better way? Any suggestions on what oil to use to re-oil them? Or anywhere I can just buy new ones?

Hot water and dawn soap. Let it set over night. Dry off and then "lightly" oil with any motor oil.
