need some input guys. what's a good bike and size for a 10 year old with only a little experience on two wheels. had a 70cc he got a little use from but he's outgrown it. I was thinking perhaps a 125. 12/14 wheels? 15/17 wheels?
thoughts?
this is the one he was previously riding....

i would run by the local honda or yamaha place and try one on for size. get it where its a little big for him and it will last him longer. those suckers grow so dang fast. my daughter outgrew shoes befor she could wear them!

Depending on how tall he is, either this one

or maybe, possibly this one

I do think the 17 is built for adults
I am sure there are Coolster equivalents, as it seems that both Taotao and Coolster have upped the quality game

thanks for the links. doing some searches and looking at videos, it looks like the 12/14 wheel size would be better. found a vid at killer motorsports which shows an 11 year old on one. the larger ones appear to be more the size of teenagers.

Any pit bike with 12/14 inch wheels will do. My oldest, who's almost 12 now, went the same route as what you show on the picture above.
Only first, I got him a "beat up" second-hand pit bike, and when he proved he can use clutch and gears I got him a brand new one, because there's always a chance that he didn't like the "big" bike. Now, I can hardly keep him off of it :D
